Student Exchange
An exciting and inspiring experience!
NSKI University College offers second year students in all degree programs the opportunity for exchange abroad. Before achieving University status, NSKI established an exchange program with The New School for Drama (NDS) in New York City. The autumn of 2014 was the first time a number of our students went to NDS to spend one semester at the BFA course. Since then, many of our students have taken the opportunity and they have subsequently returned to Oslo enriched with new experience.
Exchange to New York
NSKI University College offers exchange programs for second year students in all degree programs, and as many as 8 students per year are allowed to spend one semester at NDS. NDS offers a variety of different subjects within the fields of acting, directing, screenwriting etc., that are available for the exchange students. We are currently negotiating with the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University about establishing an exchange agreement.

Project with The CRY HAVOC company
In the spring of 2017, NSKI University College completed a trial project with one of the oldest and most experienced Off-Broadway theatre companies in New York: The CRY HAVOC Company. The members of the company wrote a play for our second-year acting students, who rehearsed and performed the play in New York. The results were a great show, happy students, and the opportunity to continue the projects in coming years.
