Alumni Studio

 About NSKI Høyskoles Alumni Organization

NSKI Høyskoles Alumni Organization was created so that educated actors can come together and meet in sessions. These sessions are meant as open forums for members of the Alumni Studio to bring in work and explore/practice/take risks in a safe environment where they can receive professional feedback from their peers. Because it is rather open as far as content, it would be a good space to bring in any FOU projects you may have in development. Examples could be having our alumni actors do a reading of a script you have written; conduct a structured set of improvisation exercises or explore other teaching approaches you are creating, or even have a more experimental field to delve into movement or vocal technique for actors.

Next studio session will take place in the fall.

Ongoing: Alumni Studio Sessions

These studio sessions can be used in a variety of ways:

  • an extra rehearsal if you have a project needing feedback to try out those "dream roles" and see what they have to teach you
  • a place to bring in work you have written that you would like to workshop to screen filmwork
  • a place to polish audition monologues

Studio sessions are shaped to your needs and aspirations. Challenge yourself to work out those creative muscles and take a risk in a safe and supportive space designed to take your personal artistic development to the next level without judgment or competition. This space is for you.
